DA lines up livelihood seminars in Central Luzon
The Department of Agriculture (DA) has lined up seminars on various livelihood projects in Central Luzon, Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Pinol said Sunday.
He said the Central Luzon Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), an agency under the DA, will spearhead the seminars.
“I am also directing the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) and the Philippine Crop Insurance Corp. (PCIC) to join these trainings and deliver lectures on Production Loan Easy Access (PLEA) and Crop Insurance,” he said on his Facebook page.
The seminars include garlic production in Science City of Munoz, Nueva Ecija on June 14; native chicken in Nueva Ecija on July 12; native pig in Pampanga on August 14; babuyang walang amoy in Nueva Ecija on September 13; urban gardening in San Fernando City, Pampanga on October 18; and herbs and spices in Tarlac City, Tarlac on November 8.
