Covid-19 cases soar to P34K in Central Luzon – DOH
The number of Covid-19-positive cases has surged to 34,193 in Central Luzon, according to the latest bulletin from the Department of Health (DOH).
The bulletin said 25,079 patients have recovered, but 23.5 percent of all cases, or 8,027, are active cases, as of March 29.
Bulacan province recorded the highest number of Covid-19 active cases with 2,655, followed by Pampanga with 2,271 active cases.
Some 978 active cases were reported in Angeles City, 37 in Olongapo City, 247 in Zambales, 675 in Tarlac, 650 in Nueva Ecija, 317 in Bataan and 124 in Aurora, according to the bulletin.
Deaths from Covid-19 in the region have reached 1,087, representing 3.2 percent of the total number of cases.
