Covid-19 cases in Central Luzon near 20K, deaths now at 550
The tally of confirmed coronavirus cases in Central Luzon has almost reached 20,000 as of November 8 with the number of fatalities now at 550, according to the Central Luzon Center for Health Development, citing Department of Health figures.
The number of Covid-19 cases stood at 19,528 with 3,583 active cases and 15,395 recoveries, the figures showed.
The number of deaths is now at 550.
Bulacan still has the biggest number of confirmed cases with 8,533 cases and 254 deaths, followed by Pampanga with 4,181 cases and 141 deaths, and Bataan with 2,796 cases and 55 deaths.
Zambales, meanwhile, has 1,436 cases and 32 deaths while Nueva Ecija has 1,219 cases and 34 deaths.
Tarlac has 921 cases and 34 deaths while Aurora has 81 cases and no deaths to date.
