Covid-19 cases in Capas reach 2.3K with 77 dead

The number of Covid-19 cases in Capas town in Tarlac province has reached 2,321 with 77 individuals who have died of the disease, according to updated figures from the municipality.

Of that number, 2,059 have recovered from the disease. The number of active cases, on the other hand, has reached 185, as of Wednesday, officials said.

The town’s case bulletin showed that a total of 2,321 cases have been logged in the municipality since the pandemic started in March 2020.

Some 2,059 of these patients had recovered from the virus.

Officials said a total of 77 individuals have died of Covid-19.

The Capas task force appealed to the town residents to stay home and avoid gatherings. They were also advised to continue observing safety and health protocols.
