Cops nab Korean for carrying gun, illegal drugs at Clark airport
Authorities have arrested a Korean national for alleged illegal possession of firearm, ammunition and drugs at the Clark International Airport in Pampanga early Tuesday, July 10.
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said that Hoseop Yoon was checking in at the airport at around 12:15 a.m. when the airport police discovered that he was carrying a caliber 22 pistol with five rounds of ammunition and two sachets of suspected shabu.
The foreigner was supposed to leave for Incheon, South Korea.
Appropriate charges would be filed against Yoon, police said.
