A Korean national and three other Filipinos were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Pampanga, police said Tuesday.

Police Senior Supt. Joel Rentoy Consulta, provincial police director, identified the Korean as Jake Lee, 36, who was nabbed, along with an 18-year old Filipina, in Dau village, Mabalacat City.

Confiscated from their possession were four pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, one piece of 1,000.00 peso bill, one piece sling bag, one piece zippered pouch and one cellular phone.

Aside from violation of Sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the two were also facing the charges of direct assault and resistance and disobedience to a person in authority for trying to resist arrest.

Police also arrested a 22-year old suspect in Manibaug Libutad village in Porac, and 29-year old man in Dela Paz Sur, San Fernando City.

The other target of the anti-drug operation in Dela Paz Sur managed to escape.

Consulta commended the arresting teams for their accomplishments and their relentless efforts in eradicating illegal narcotics in the province.
