Cops nab 3, seize P200K worth of shabu in Angeles City ops

Police have arrested three persons and confiscated over P200,000 worth of suspected shabu in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Angeles City over the weekend, an official said Monday.

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Director Chief Supt. Amador V. Corpus said operatives of the Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit (ACPDEU) conducted buy-bust operation along Jake Gonzales St., Virgen Delos Remedios, Angeles City, which resulted to the arrest of certain Anjo Muñoz.

Confiscated from the suspect were illegal drugs amounting to P165,000, a pouch bag, P1,000 marked money and a vehicle.

In a separate buy-bust operation, police nabbed certain Herminio Yanga, 49, and Robert Cayanan, 39, in Barangay Cutcut, Angeles City.

Seized from the duo’s possession were alleged shabu worth P40,000 and marked money, among others.

The suspects were charged for allegedly violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
