Cops kill alleged drug pusher in Pampanga anti-drug op
A suspected drug peddler was killed in an anti-illegal drug operation in Pampanga Wednesday.
Police Supt. Ruel Cagape, Mabalacat City Police Station chief, identified the suspect as Prince Tian Reyes.
The buy-bust operation, which turned bloody, took place at about midnight in Ilang-Ilang St., Pineda Subdivision in Dau village.
Cagape said when the suspect sensed that he was dealing with a police operative, he allegedly pulled out a caliber 38 revolver from his waist and fired toward the police officer, prompting the latter to retaliate.
Confiscated from the slain suspect were plastic sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P1,000, one caliber 38 revolver and drug paraphernalia.
Reyes was also allegedly involved in a robbery hold-up and in the series of Basag Kotse in Mabalacat.
