Contract tracers wanted in Bulacan, to get P18K monthly pay

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Bulacan province is seeking applications for contact tracers who will help locate people who may have been infected by the new coronavirus in the province.
The hiring period has been extended until September 23.
In an advisory, DILG-Bulacan said the contact tracers would be under Salary Grade 9, entitling them to a monthly pay of P18,784. The duration of the contract is until December.
There’s no special training or eligibility requirement, except for a bachelor’s degree, preferably in an allied medical course or criminology, according to the DILG-Bulacan advisory, which was shared by Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando to his Facebook followers.
But officials said they would prefer candidates with experience in the following:
• Must be skilled in data gathering and/or assisted in research and documentation;
• Must be able to interview COVID-19 cases and close contacts in order to gather data on travel history and conduct health assessments;
• Must possess the ability to advocate public health education messages; and
• Have investigative capability.
Job applicants will have to submit a letter of Intent, a Personal Data Sheet, an NBI Clearance, and a drug test result.
