Congresswoman Lorna Silverio promised TUPAD aid for SAP non-qualifiers
Not all will be able to receive cash aid from the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Understandably so, as not everyone needs the extra cash and some, if not most, can work straight from their homes. To avoid ill feelings and retaliation, Bulacan third district representative Tita Lorna Silverio helped bring back TUPAD or Tanggapan ng Lingap at Serbisyo in six Bulacan districts.
A beneficiary will receive P420 per day from the TUPAD fund for cleaning their house and backyard under the Barangay Ko, Bahay Ko Program. So far in San Ildefonso, 138 beneficiaries received their payout from the project. She thanked everyone who are cooperating with her to make all of these possible.
