Congressman Geraldine Roman has this to say about openly gay bar topnotcher
It seems that Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman got word in town about a gay sister topping the 2018 Bar examinations. She only had one word to say and shared it to her Facebook friends: True!
If you don’t remember, Geraldine Roman is the first transgender woman to be elected in Congress, a landmark win not only for her but for the LGBTQIA community and all those fighting for diversity.
Ateneo Law graduate Sean Borja was given a similar opportunity. He recently topped the bar examinations where he used the current spotlight as a platform to affect change. He first shared his fears as a budding gay lawyer and frustrations on gay social stereotypes. These drove him to prove that members of the queer community aren’t only born to work for one industry.
Take it from Representative Geraldine Roman and Sean Borja: gender does not know any boundaries.
