Concreting of Tarlac town road now complete

The concreting of a local road in Anao town in Tarlac province is now complete, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The 902-meter Guerrero Road located in Barangay San Jose North is now fully concrete, officials said in a Philippine Information Agency report.
According to DPWH Tarlac first district engineer Neil Farala, the concrete road will improve mobility within agricultural communities by providing residents with better and safer roads.
“This new paved road will make it easier to deliver agricultural products from barangay San Jose North to the town market and we are optimistic that this project will greatly contribute to the province’s agricultural development,” he was quoted as saying in the report.
The P9.6-million infrastructure was funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act, the report said.
