Central Luzon’s Covid-19 cases near 15K, deaths at 358
The number of coronavirus patients in Central Luzon is steadily rising, now approaching 15,000 as of October 10, the Department of Health (DOH) in Region 3 said, citing data from the Central Luzon Center for Health Development.
The confirmed Covid-19 cases are now at 14,662 with 358 dead, DOH-Central Luzon said.
Some 1,089 have been admitted to hospitals while 3,522 have been discharged, according to the figures.
The good news is 9,693 have recovered from the disease, according to DOH-Central Luzon.
Bulacan province is still on top with 6,504 cases and 157 deaths, followed by Pampanga with 2,999 cases and 92 deaths, and Bulacan with 2,467 cases and 39 deaths.
Aurora is the only province that remains practically free of the virus with still only one confirmed case and one recovery, the data showed.
