Central Luzon logs 126 COVID cases after Election Day
A total of 126 COVID-19 cases were recorded in Central Luzon after Election Day, from May 10 to 16, based on the tally of the Department of Health.
The figure translates to an average of 10 cases daily in Region 3, DOH officials pointed out.
But there is still no surge, as the number is lower than the 196 cases recorded from May 3 to May 9, they added.
Before the May 9 elections, Central Luzon recorded a total of 361,966 COVID-19 cases, 220 of whom were active with 355,113 recoveries.
The death toll stood at 6,633.
