Central Luzon to host cacao congress next week
This might be this year’s sweetest congress to be held in Central Luzon.
The province of Pampanga, through the Cacao Region III Council, will host a gathering of cacao industry stakeholders on Nov. 16-17 at the Kingsborough International Convention Center.
The Cacao Link Luzon Congress will feature discussion on production agronomy, nursery establishment, post-harvest processing, seed preparation and plant propagation, basic soil analysis, pod breaking, fermentation and bean grading, and chocolate-making and tasting.
“Anchored on the theme Cacao is Gold, the congress is a gathering of cacao industry stakeholders aiming to establish stronger linkages for sustainable and inclusive growth of the cacao industry in Luzon,” the Cacao Region III Council said in a statement.
The Cacao Region III Council is chaired by Kapampangan Development Foundation, Inc. and co-chaired by Department of Trade and Industry.
