Candaba campus of state university offers new courses
The Candaba campus of the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) is offering architecture, civil engineering, statistics and two other programs in the upcoming school year.
In a statement, DHVSU Candaba school director Jessie Manapsal said at least five new programs were added to the list of undergraduate courses offered in the campus for the curriculum year 2021-2022.
The new courses are Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Statistics, and Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Management.
At present, the campus offers eight undergraduate courses, namely, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majors in Marketing or Economics, Bachelor of Science and Entrepreneurship, Bachelor in Public Administration, Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education majors in Math or English and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and Master’s Degree in Education.
In a statement, Manapsal said the launching of new programs was aligned with the state university and local government’s vision of providing quality but affordable tertiary education to youth of Candaba and nearby towns.
He cited the initiative of Candaba Mayor Rene Maglanque to bring new courses to DHVSU’s Candaba campus.
