Bulacan has won the 2022 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit (LGU) Award in the province-level category from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).
The provincial government received the coveted award during the 48th Philippine Business Conference and Expo held at the Fiesta Pavilion of The Manila Hotel in Manila on Thursday.
In a statement, Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando thanked the PCCI for the award, saying the province would continue providing opportunities to businesses and enterprises in its jurisdiction.
“Ang mga ganitong uri ng parangal ay nagpapatunay na tinatahak natin ang tamang landas tungo sa tagumpay,” the governor said.
“Paalala ito para sa amin na lalong magpursige upang ibigay ang pinakamataas na uri ng serbisyo-publiko sa aming mga kalalawigan,” Fernando said.
Fernando received the award from President Bongbong Marcos, who was the guest of honor and speaker at the gathering of thousands of local and foreign business leaders.
In 2020, Bulacan also bagged the Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit (Provincial Level) during the virtual 46th Philippine Business Conference and Expo.
