Bulacan receives award from nutrition council

Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado recently received the province’s First Year CROWN (Consistent Regional Outstanding Winner in Nutrition) Maintenance award from the National Nutrition Council at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
The award includes an incentive worth P100,000.
“We continue not just to support national health programs for our citizens, but think up ways of improving health programs especially for those who need it most,” Alvarado said as he received the award.
The award was given to the province for successfully maintaining the CROWN Award through the efficient and effective implementation and management of its Provincial Nutrition Program which resulted to the improvement of the nutrition situation in the province of Bulacan especially among its young children.
