Bulacan police nets 13 illegal drugs suspects in weekend ops
Thirteen illegal drugs suspects were apprehended by police operatives in different operations over the weekend in Bulacan province, police said in a statement Monday.
The buy-bust operations conducted by the Bulacan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, the San Miguel Municipal Police and the Bocaue Municipal Police also yielded 18 plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” from the apprehended persons.
Bulacan Police Director Sr. Supt. Chito Bersaluna said the suspects, who were mostly men, aged 24 – 66 years old.
They were brought to the Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for examination while the appropriate complaints against them are being prepared.
The Bulacan police said it continuously implements its intensified campaign against illegal drugs, known as “Project Double Barrel Reloaded,” and all other forms of criminality on orders of national police chief Dir. Gen. Oscar Albayalde and Region III police director Chief Supt. Amador Corpus.
