Bulacan mayors thankful to NLEX Corp. for food drive
The North Luzon Expressway Corporation, the builder and concessionaire of NLEX and SCTEX, has kick-started a food donation program for public health workers in Central Luzon, Northern Luzon and Metro Manila.
In a statement, the tollway company said it turned over boxes of food and snacks for health workers assigned in vaccination sites in 13 LGUs in Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan City, Malabon City, Navotas City, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Bataan.
The LGUs are covered by its expressway network.
Bulacan mayors expressed their appreciation for the donations.
“Thank you for your donations, NLEX.
Last quarter, NLEX also donated food items and other essentials to communities hit by flooding and jeepney drivers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
