Bulacan is most business-friendly province, says PCCI
Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando expressed his gratitude to the Almighty after his province was awarded the Most Business-Friendly Province in the country by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The awarding took place during the 46th Philippine Business Conference and Exposition on October 8.
“PAPURI AT PASASALAMAT sa ating DAKILANG DIYOS! Sa kabila ng matinding pagsubok sa gitna ng pandemyang kinakaharap ng ating bansa at ng buong mundo, nabubuhayan tayo ng PAG-ASA sa patuloy na karangalang nakakamit ng LALAWIGAN NG BULACAN, na itinanghal bilang MOST BUSINESS-FRIENDLY PROVINCE ng bansang Pilipinas,” an ecstatic Fernando posted on his Facebook page.
The award was based on 2019 performance.
Bulacan led the field in terms of the following:
• Investment promotion
• Compliance to the Anti-Red Tape Act
• Fiscal transparency.
• Trade, investment, at tourism promotion
• Public-private partnership
• Micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) development. Quality management systems (QMS)
• Innovations, human resource development at local government collaboration.
“Karangalan ko pong pamunuan at paglingkuran ang dakilang lalawigan at ito ay iniaalay ko sa mamamayang Bulakenyo,” Fernando said.
