Bulacan holds caravan for federalism
Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado and other local government officials led Saturday their constituents in a caravan for federalism.
Some 3,000 Bulakenyos flocked in front of the Provincial Government of Bulacan building to show their support in the proposed shift from unitary to federal form of government during the “Go Bulacan for Federalism Caravan.”
Bulacan 1st District Representative Jose Antonio R. Sy-Alvarado assured the Bulakenyos that Congress is doing its best to support the passage of the new system of government.
The local government said the caravan was organized by the Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte-National Executive Coordinating Committee (MRRD-NECC) and the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) with the support of the Provincial Government of Bulacan.
