Bulacan gears for bulk water supply project
Bulacan Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy Alvarado is pushing for the improvement of access to affordable, fresh and potable surface water in the province.
On March 1, Alvarado met with stakeholders in Malolos for the Bulacan bulk water supply project, a public-private partnership program that aims to provide the province access to fresh, potable surface water with a lower bulk water charge.
The meeting was also attended by the provincial legal office; representatives from the local water utilities administration, Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System and Luzon Clean Water Development Corp., and retired Deputy Director Generals Reynaldo Velasco.
