Bulacan District 1 farmers receive carabaos
The provincial government of Bulacan has distributed 12 carabaos to the farmers from District 1.
Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado said the project aims to augment the income of local farmers so that they will continue with their important role – to contribute in
ensuring rice sufficiency in the province.
The recipients of carabao specifically came from Hagonoy, Calumpit, Bulakan, Pulilan and Malolos City.
For a beneficiary to be eligible, one must be a farmer; must be willing to undergo a seminar which consists of proper raising and management; and write a Letter of Intent addressed to the governor of Bulacan.
The Provincial Veterinary Office is implementing the project under the the annual Animal Distribution Project (ADP).
