Bulacan Congresswoman Lorna Silverio posts 9 ways to fight COVID-19
Bulacan third district representative Lorna Silverio is one of many who strongly believes that prevention is better than cure. She is calling on every Filipino to increase their stamina in order to not let the COVID-19 virus enter.
On her Facebook page, the congresswoman shared nine ways on how to strengthen the immune system according to the Harvard Health Publishing of the Harvard Medical School. First is to eat many fruits and vegetables. Second is to not smoke. Third is to exercise regularly. Fourth is to make sure the weight and height are balanced. Fifth is to avoid alcohol. Sixth is to get adequate sleep daily. Seventh is to wash hands regularly with soap. Eighth is cook meat thoroughly. Ninth is to avoid stress.
May we all choose to live healthier lives in order to avoid illnesses as well as protecting our family and friends from viral transmission.
