Bulacan congresswoman Lorna Silverio graces agricultural state college’s 69th Charter Day
What an honor for Bulacan third district representative Lorna Silverio.
She took to Facebook to thank the Bulacan Agricultural State College for inviting her to be its speaker for the 69th Charter Day. The theme, “BASC @ 69: Transforming into an Agricultural University,” is true to the institution’s vision of becoming one of Philippine’s best agricultural HEIs (Higher Education Institutions).
The congresswoman also bore great news for BASC. “As your representative in the lower house of congress, I am so happy to inform you that the bill seeking for the transformation of BASC into an agricultural university has already passed its 3rd and final reading at the House of Representatives and is now at the Senate for its eventual passage or enactment into a law,” she wrote in her Facebook post.
In high spirits, Congresswoman Silverio congratulated BASC, soon to be the Bulacan Agricultural State University.
