Bulacan congresswoman Lorna Silverio empowers women through livelihood opportunities
Bulacan third district representative Lorna Silverio wants to empower women more in political, economic and socio-cultural circles.
She recently coursed through the Department of Labor and Employment Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP) the need of funding for women to step forward in their business ventures. Congresswoman Silverio was happy to report that they were able to help 86 beneficiaries by giving each of them a sari-sari store package worth P20,000.
The congresswoman thanked Renalyn Quilantang for taking care of the accounting and his son Victor for representing him in the distribution event.
