Bong Go tours Bulacan

Resigned Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go toured Bulacan province on Tuesday.

The senatorial candidate for next year’s mid-term polls attended the Gawad Galing sa Kalusugan held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.

He also took part in the ribbon-cutting for the newly renovated Bulacan Museum and toured it.

A statement in his Facebook page said Go laid down his legislative agenda if he wins a seat in the Senate, which includes his Malasakit Center initiative.

He said he will strive to achieve the ideal doctor-to-patient ratio, upgrade hospital equipment, and add hospital beds in public health facilities.

Go also promised to give benefits to Barangay Health Workers, and study how the Universal Healthcare Bill can be best enjoyed.

Go’s political plans has the blessing of his longtime boss, President Rodrigo Duterte.

The official start of the campaign for the May 2018 elections by senatorial candidates will only start in February next year.(END)
