Bong Go speaks before Bulacan State U. graduates

Sep 14, 2018 @ 14:37

Secretary Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go, President Rodrigo Duterte’s special assistant who is rumored to be running for the Senate next year, was the commencement speaker at the Bulacan State University last Wednesday.

According to a statement from Go’s PR team, the official, also known as the “National Photobomber” and “Selfie King,” advised the graduates to use their knowledge and talents not only to advance themselves but also to help others.

The De La Salle University alumnus encouraged the BSU graduates to serve their communities and become agents of change in the country.

Go rewarded the oldest graduate with a mobile phone, and the youngest one with his personal watch, the statement said.

He also vowed to facilitate a tour in Malacanang Palace for those who are interested.

The rumored soon-to-be politiko took the opportunity as well to highlight his boss’s campaign against criminality, corruption and illegal drugs.

A June 2018 survey of Pulse Asia showed Go in the rank ranging 23-31 as voters’ choice if the senatorial elections were held that time.
