Bocaue residents get free livelihood aid from DOLE, local gov’t

Five hundred residents living in St. Martha, Barangay Batia in Bocaue, Bulacan received livelihood assistance from the local government and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Mayor Joni Villanueva-Tugna posted a photo collage of the distribution on Monday, January 15.

The residents of the relocation site received sacks of rice, grocery items, soft drinks, welding sets, and sewing machines, which the politiko explained they can use to start their own business.

“Salamat po sa DOLE na katuwang ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Bocaue sa mga biyayang ito,” said Villanueva.
