Bocaue Mayor JJS Santiago slams Inquirer for “false report”
Bocaue Mayor JJS Santiago couldn’t let this false news pass.
He took to Facebook to release an official statement from the owners of the Jesus Asuncion Builders, father and son Jesus and Jose Paolo. Jan Escosio from Inquirer.net reported on an alleged corruption scheme involving the LGU led by Mayor Santiago and the owners of the construction firm hired for an infrastructure project in Bocaue.
The owners came out to clear the air that there is no truth to the claim. According to the owners, the “Paolo Asuncion” interviewed by Escosio for his report was an impostor.
