Bataan Tourism lines up activities for 76th Araw ng Kagitingan
The Bataan Tourism Office has urged the public to participate in all the activities that it has lined up for the commemoration of the 76th Araw ng Kagitingan or Day of Valor this month.
“Come and join us, as we commemorate the 76th Araw ng Kagitingan,” the local tourism office said.
The schedule of activities was from March 24 and will end on April 9, the Day of Valor.
On April 4, there will be Galing Bataan Trade Fair Opening Program; Tagisan Diwang Bataan Paligsahang Pangkasaysayan, and Senior Citizens’ Night.
History Quiz, Bataan Cooperatives and Entrepreneurs’ Night will be held on April 5.
Parade of Floats, Foot Parade, Military Band Exhibition, and Parangal sa mga Beterano are scheduled on April 6.
On April 7, “Dugong Bayani” blood donations activity, Drum and Lyre Competition, and Bataan Freedom Run 2018 will be held.
There will be Koro Bangkal Magbikin Concert on April 8.
The National Commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan will be held on April 9 at the Shrine of Valor Mt. Samat in Pilar town. President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to attend the ceremony on that day. On the same day, the Galing Trade Fair Closing Program will be held.
Bataan’s theme for the 76th Araw ng Kagitingan is “Kagitingan at Pagmamahal sa Pilipinas Para sa Tunay na Pagbabago.”
