Bataan Governor Albert Garcia assured laid-off or unemployed workers in Bataan that the provincial government was taking steps to seek new opportunities for them despite the pandemic.

“Sa kabila pa rin po ng kinakaharap nating pandemya dulot ng Covid-19, patuloy ang ating pakikipag-ugnayan sa iba’t-ibang ahensiya ng pamahalaan upang makapagbigay ng mas maraming oportunidad sa trabaho sa ating mga kababayan,” he said on Facebook.

The governor noted that he received a visit from Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-Bataan Provincial Director Leilani Reynoso to discuss various livelihood programs, such as the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) and the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD).
