Bataan Governor Abet Garcia celebrates International Day of People with Disabilities

Yesterday was International Day of People with Disabilities.
Bataan Governor Abet Garcia was one with the community’s celebration by visiting the PGB Wheelchair Repair Shop. He was with Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office Head Marilyn Tigas, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Health Chairman Bong Galicia, Latter-Day Saints (LDS) Charities Social Services Head Sister Lya Lucila, Orion Stake President Benjie Pajanustan ng The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, and members of the Provincial Council on Disability Affairs and Samahan ng Taong May Kapansanan sa Bataan.
Governor Garcia was very glad and proud to announce that Bataan is the first province to have built a Wheelchair Repair Shop. It offers free repair services for wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
