Bataan gov: Upswing in COVID cases still ‘manageable’

Bataan Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III said the rise in COVID-19 cases was still manageable as the number of confirmed cases reached 38,668 with 248 active ones after the addition of 56 new infections.
But the governor asked residents in Bataan to continue to be careful, get vaccinated and continue observing safety protocols.
The Bataan provincial government in coordination with Provincial Health Office and the local government units launched the five-day “Bakunahan Bayanihan sa Barangay: Panalo ang Bakunado at Boosted na Bataeno” offering cash and other incentives from July 20-23 and July 25.
Based on the PHO’s tally, the number of active cases has been rising steadily since July 2, currently at 248.
Three new deaths were also recorded, bringing the death toll in Bataan to 1,432.
