Bataan employment office to hold first virtual job fair
The public employment service office of the Bataan provincial government will be holding its first virtual job fair in the province from May 17 to 21.
Organizers said the event will have the theme “Manggagawa at Mamamayan: Babangon, Susulong!”
More than 1,000 local and overseas job opportunities are expected to be made available at the fair, according to a Punto Central Luzon report.
The entire application process will be online and registration is free, the report said.
“We like to make the experience available at the comfort and safety of your own home. Job seekers can also expect on-the-spot interviews from their respective employers with greater chances of being hired on the same day,” officials said.
Bataan Governor Albert Garcia said the initiative is a collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Trade and Industry, and other national government agencies with Vantagehunt, a paperless employment solution platform.
