Bataan cops get into yule season with Christmas tree lighting

The Bataan Police Provincial Office started getting into the yuletide season with the Christmas tree lighting ceremonies at Camp PFC Cirilo Tolentino.

“The true essence of Christmas will be in our hearts by sharing, giving and forgiving so that everyone will sincerely feel the warmth, abundance and happiness of being blessed,” Col. Romell Velasco told the police corps.

According to a Punto Central Luzon report, the police chief “expressed his gratitude to all the men and women of Bataan PPO for demonstrating their unwavering commitment and the highest standards of professionalism in the public service.”

“Your dedication to your work that you do is truly inspiring,” the Bataan police director was quoted as saying.

The 20-foot Christmas tree, according to Velasco, symbolized the strength and will of the Bataan police’ 776 men and women.
