According to Roman’s Facebook post, the legislator “wants the people of the war-devastated city to feel and know that the government is fulfilling its duty and promises.”

It also bared that in a matter of two weeks, Roman’s Committee on Disaster Management was able to help the National Housing Authority and the Task Force Bangon Marawi fast-track the purchase of land in Barangay Kilala for the immediate construction of permanent homes for displaced residents.

The three versions of the Marawi Compensation Bills are also being heard currently by the committee, and awaiting clearance from the Committee on Appropriations.(END)
