The transgender politiko said on her Facebook page, “Thank you very much to Apple, Amazon, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Intel and all the rest of the 50 plus top companies for coming together to sign a letter expressing opposition to Trump’s reported attempt to redefine gender.”

“Thanks to all these companies for opposing any administrative and legislative efforts to erase transgender protections,” she added.

Expressing solid backing to the LGBT community in the United States, Roman said “there is no place for inequality and discrimination at this day and age.”

She said “any attempt at diminishing the civil rights protections gained by the LGBT community will be faced with protests all over the world – even by top tech companies.”
