Bataan Cong Roman promotes hometown Orani

Sep 29, 2018 @ 7:40

Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman is determined to promote her hometown of Orani as one of the country’s top ecotourism sites.

“My hometown has so much to offer and I can’t wait to see what the future will bring!” Roman said on her Facebook account.

Consistent with her hope of making Orani as a leading ecotourism destination in the country by 2020, Roman said she has proposed two bills that will declare Barangay Tala in Orani and Pilis Falls in Samal town as ecotourism zones.

According to the politiko, the two bills have been approved in Congress and are now pending in the Senate.

“If you haven’t visited my beautiful hometown of Orani, you should plan a short vacation soon and see what we have to offer,” she said.

“We have the most picturesque views of Mt. Natib, a favorite of nature lovers, and untouched waterfalls and rivers that sparkle with diamond clarity.”

Roman said that while ecotourism will showcase Orani’s culture and history, it will teach visitors as well about the importance of caring for the environment.(END)
