Bataan Cong Roman advocates against open burning of trash
Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman is advocating against the open burning of garbage, which is already mandated by law.
Roman issued the reminder last March 1 on her Facebook page, citing Republic Act 9003 that penalizes such act with a fine of P1,000 up to 3,000, and imprisonment from 15 days to six months.
Roman urged everyone to help educate the public that the practice of opening burning of solid waste will result to air pollution.
