Bataan confirms one COVID-19 case
Confirmed from the horse’s mouth!
This is not fake news; Bataan has officially announced one confirmed COVID-19 case. The patient is identified as PH64 M32 who is currently under quarantine at a hospital in Balanga City. The patient works and lives in Manila but hails from Bataan so he decided to go home for a short vacation. Around this time, he was already exhibiting symptoms of the pandemic.
As soon as he was tested positive of the virus, the Bataan Provincial Health Office immediately compiled information about the patient and traced every possible human he interacted with.
The Bataan government promised that it is exhausting all its efforts to contain the virus and to ensure everyone’s safety. The Facebook post ended with a call: Everyone is enjoined to remain calm, vigilant and prayerful. With God’s divine intervention and our cooperation, this too, shall pass.
