Baler is most competitive among 3rd-6th class municipalities in 2017

The National Competitiveness Council (NCC) said Baler is the most competitive local government unit (LGU) among 3rd to 6th class municipalities in the country for 2017.
This is according to the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI) 2017.
The CMCI ranks competitiveness of cities and municipalities in terms of economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure, and resiliency.
The City of San Fernando in Pampanga is ranked second in terms of economic dynamism among component cities.
The CMCI said Quezon City in Metro Manila is the overall most competitive city among highly urbanized cities.
It is followed by Manila and Davao City.
