Bagong hepe! Central Luzon police get new director

Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. has formally assumed leadership of the Police Regional Office in Central Luzon (PRO-3), taking over from Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen, who has retired from the service.

According to the Philippine National Police-Public Information Office (PNP-PIO), Hidalgo took over from Pasiwen during turnover rites at Camp Olivas in San Fernando City in Pampanga on Wednesday.

Hidalgo is a member of the PNP Academy Class of 1991.

Before his latest appointment, he served as deputy director for administration of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

Hidalgo was also previously assigned at the PRO3 as the commander of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.

During his speech, Hidalgo vowed to sustain, if not surpass, the gains achieved by PRO-3 in the campaign against crime and illegal drugs.
