Bagac town raffles of motorcycles for vaccinated residents
The Bagac municipal government in Bataan province is raffling off four motorcycles, rice and cash among the vaccinated as a way to convince residents to get inoculated against Covid-19.
The vaccination campaign has the theme “Safe ka na, may motor ka pa,” according to a Punto Central Luzon report.
The report said Michelle Mendoza Pillagara, secretary of Bagac Mayor Ramil del Rosario, announced Friday that at stake are four brand new motorcycles, rice, and cash.
“Magpabakuna na at manalo ng bagong motorsiklo, bigas at pera,” she was quoted as saying in the report.
“For every 5,000 fully vaccinated, magra-raffle ng isang motorsiklo,” she added.
Pillagara said even residents of Bagac who got vaccinated in other areas were eligible for the raffle.
As to the other prizes, Pillagara said for every vaccination site in Bagac, five who have been vaccinated in each site will win 25 kilograms of rice and cash of P1,000. There are two inoculation sites in the town.
