Aurora Governor Jerry Noveras has always stood by this belief.
People shouldn’t thank politicians for the public projects they put out.
The taxpayers paid for it and it is essentially taxpayers’ money that makes the projects possible in the first place.
His Facebook page shared a quote that follows the same principle.
It reads, “To applaud a politician because he has built a hospital, a school, road etc with public money is the same as applauding an ATM because it give you your money.”
