House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo led on Friday the turnover of a new school building and a water system to an Aeta community in Porac, Pampanga.

The Pampanga 2nd District Representative first unveiled the milestone plaque for the official turnover of the Sapang Uwak High School building that was donated by Alviera, a joint venture development of Ayala Land, Inc. and Leonio Land Holdings, Inc.

She then led the ceremonial opening of a new water station in Barangay Sapang Uwak that Manila Water Company, Inc. (MWC) provided.

Arroyo, the country’s president from 2001 to 2010, was joined by Porac Mayor Conrado dela Cruz, Barangay Sapang Uwak Captain Solis Palo, MWC President and Chief Executive Officer Ferdinand dela Cruz, representatives from Alviera, and other officials.

Porac is among six municipalities of Pampanga that fall under the province’s Second District.(END)
