Arayat Mayor Emmanuel Alejandrino led the distribution of almost 25,000 food packs to thousands of families in the municipality, courtesy of the Pampanga provincial government through Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda.
A total of 24,656 food packs were distributed starting last weekend to all households in the town.
Each food pack contains one kilo of hotdogs, two dressed chickens and five kilos of rice, according to Alejandrino.
Itong mga food pack ay kumpleto na dahil may kanin at ulam na,” the mayor said.
His wife, Madeth Alejandrino thanked Pineda for the assistance to Arayat residents.
All barangay workers in the municipality also received five kilos of rice each from the Alejandrino family “as thanksgiving for the efforts, sacrifices and support of the barangay workers in ensuring the peace and order in their community.”
