Angeles to launch online payment system for real property taxes
The Angeles City government is set to launch on Monday an online payment system for real property taxes (RPT) to make it easier for homeowners in the city to settle their dues.
The online payment system is an ease-of-doing business project of Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., officials said.
On October 20, Lazatin’s chief adviser IC Calaguas personally tested the system by paying her RPT online via www.cityofangeles.ph.
The system was mapped out during a meeting presided by Calaguas, with MultiSys representatives, City Treasurer Juliet Quinsaat, City Assessor Officer-in-Charge Michael Calaguas and staff Noel Vidal.
Editha Arceo of City Accounting Office, Information Communication and Technology Division Consultant Allan Anonuevo, Tom Pabalan of Civilian Security Unit and Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Officer-in-Charge Irish Bonus-Llego also took part.
