Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr.’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel donated computers to 10 public schools, using raised funds and their own Beautéderm fees for two consecutive years.
The local executives personally delivered the computer units to the first batch of schools on July 25 with Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer Irish Bonus-Llego.
“We aim towards the educational development of our children and schools in the city, especially those who need it most,” Manuel said, who recently vowed through her Facebook post to give back before her birthday on August 1.
“This will also complement the educational programs being undertaken by Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. who vows that no Angeleño children will be left behind in terms of education,” Manuel addeed.
The donation was part of the officials’ advocacy to assist schools during their Brigada Eskwela.
